{"id":5098,"date":"2025-12-29T08:09:53","date_gmt":"2025-12-29T07:09:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.urbanmoveacademy.ch\/?post_type=event&#038;p=5098"},"modified":"2026-04-21T11:56:20","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T09:56:20","slug":"audition-2025","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.urbanmoveacademy.ch\/en\/event\/audition-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Audition 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Preselection \/ Total Move Multidisciplinary Training<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Apply now!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The preselection to participate in the 2026 audition opens on <strong>February 2, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The in-person auditions to select young <strong>hip hop and\/or contemporary dancers, traceurs, skaters or hybrid artists<\/strong> wishing to join the training programme will take place on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>April 23 in Paris<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>May 30 and 31, 2026 in Geneva<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must be <strong>between 17 and 23 years old<\/strong> at the time of registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>2-year programme<\/strong> \u2013 full-time or part-time \u2013 will begin on <strong>September 3, 2026<\/strong>. It will include numerous multidisciplinary workshops, creative processes and stage experiences throughout the academic years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>third post-graduate year<\/strong> within the <strong>UMA Troupe \u2013 junior multidisciplinary company<\/strong> may be offered by invitation at the end of the 2-year programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application deadline:<\/strong> May 29, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Required material:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CV and photos<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A short self-presentation explaining:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Motivation to join <strong>UMA \u2013 Urban Move Academy<\/strong> (30-second video)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Qualities the applicant believes are suited to the programme (30-second video)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An improvisation (<strong>minimum 60-second video<\/strong>) and\/or an extract from a performance\/show (<strong>minimum 60-second video<\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More information about the multidisciplinary performer training<br>Application form<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For any questions, please contact us at <strong><a>info@urbanmoveacademy.ch<\/a><\/strong> or call <strong>+41 (0)22 980 99 95<\/strong>.
