Multidisciplinary Training Program

UMA – Urban Move Academy is holding its annual audition on May 18 and May 31, 2025, to select young hip hop and/or contemporary dancers interested in joining our multidisciplinary performer training in urban arts and sports.
Applicants must be between 17 and 23 years old at the time of registration.
This two year pre-professional program (full-time or part-time) will begin on September 1, 2025. It includes a rich schedule of multidisciplinary workshops, creative processes, and stage experiences throughout the 2025–2026 academic year.
Audition by invitation only.

Required Materials:
- CV and photos
- Personal presentation including:
– Your motivation for applying to UMA – Urban Move Academy (30-second video)
– The qualities you believe make you a good fit for the program (30-second video) - Improvisation (minimum 60-second video) and/or a performance or show excerpt (minimum 60-second video)
