Total Move
The multidisciplinary training
Total Move, in reference to the notion of total art, rests on two main pillars, Parkour and Dance, and one optional pillar, Skateboard approached as a creative discipline. The whole curriculum aims to approach movement in the broad sense, to set these practices in dialogue and to link theory to the contemporary stage, for performers aged 17 to 24.
The work focuses on technical refinement, Improvisation, openness towards other languages, contemporary Dance, theatre, music, new technologies, and on the regular practice of the stage in varied contexts.
Whatever their starting point, dancer, tracer or other, each student follows the same path: regular fundamental classes, workshops with guest artists, creative processes, stage experiences, sessions and battles.
What the training seeks to build is a personal identity and approach, a relationship to the world around us, the theoretical and technical tools of the craft, a genuine experience of the stage and the audience, the ability to think, search and adapt to different languages, and knowledge of the professional field.
Classes open to external students. Certain classes of the training are open to external students, on registration and for a fee. Terms and available places are to be requested from the office.
