UMA – Vernier
Four days to approach Tricking beyond its usual frame, between acrobatics, dance and martial arts. The work explores fluidity, momentum and the relationship to gravity, to build a personal movement vocabulary where the figure stops being a performance to become a writing.
An acrobat, performer, choreographer and teacher, Joy Isabella Brown makes Tricking an aerial art, at the crossroads of gymnastics, dance and martial arts. A self-taught artist, she joined Jacob Jonas The Company in 2017 and develops a practice that questions the freedom and the limits of the body. Her work has marked international campaigns, from Nike to Sony.
Open to all. External students welcome.
Location: Urban Move Academy, Vernier
Price: 1 day: CHF 60, 2 days: CHF 110, 3 days: CHF 160, 4 days: CHF 210
