Alesya Dobysh is a professional dancer, choreographer, and curator based in the Netherlands.
She began her career in the streets and club scene, where she developed a deep love for House culture, which remains at the core of her artistic pursuits. Alesya has been an active participant in the dance battle scene, earning top prizes at prestigious international events such as Summer Dance Forever (Amsterdam), Juste Debout (Paris), Random Circles (Frankfurt), Street Star (Stockholm), and many others.
In her artistry, she is dedicated to experimenting with the fusion of subcultures and unconventional forms of expression, blending them with performance, theater, visual art, and sound art. One of her signature approaches involves deconstructing footwork techniques into an abstract language, which she uses as the foundation for choreographing her works.
