multidisciplinary training program
Open Call
UMA – Urban Move Academy is holding its annual audition on May 18 and 31, 2025, to select young hip hop and/or contemporary dancers wishing to join our multidisciplinary performer training program in urban arts and sports.
Applicants must be between 17 and 23 years old at the time of registration.
The 2-year pre-professional program, offered on a full-time or part-time basis, will begin on September 1, 2025. It will include numerous multidisciplinary workshops, creative processes, and stage experiences throughout the 2025–2026 academic year.
Audition by invitation only.

CV and photos
A personal introduction that explains:
– Your motivation for joining UMA – Urban Move Academy (30-second video)
– The qualities you believe are suited to the program (30-second video)
An improvisation (minimum 60-second video) and/or a performance/show excerpt (minimum 60-second video)
