UMA is delighted to welcome Victor Rottier, a Dutch dancer, choreographer and teacher, for a one-day workshop combining technical practice and creative exploration.

A graduate of the ArtEZ School of Arts in Arnhem, Victor has built his career across creation, performance and teaching. From 2014 to 2018, he danced with Staatstheater Kassel, performing works by Johannes Wieland, Hofesh Shechter, Maxine Doyle, Tom Weinberger and Helder Seabra, before becoming rehearsal director there. Today, he works as a choreographer and teacher across Europe and the United States. He is also co-founder of Greywax Dance Company and, since 2024, has been working as a choreographic assistant and rehearsal director at Luzerner Theater.

Through his Technical + Creative Workshop, Victor explores the connections between technique, creativity and performance. His approach combines precision with personal exploration, discipline with play, providing participants with tools they can apply both to their technical practice and to the creative process.

The workshop invites participants to take on new challenges, develop their adaptability and discover greater freedom in movement, within a working environment based on listening, commitment and experimentation.

A day to deepen your practice, break out of familiar patterns and fuel your creativity.
